"This is a great find. I ordered it essentially by happenstance. I noticed it was from Mozambique, and I've been a fan of the lusophone world since I studied Portuguese in college. As another reviewer commented, it's better than many more expensive teas. I hope Upton Tea continues to be able to get it, or any similar Mozambican teas that might become available."

5 out of 5 stars Mack Perry from Greenville, NC (United States) (7/29/2012)

"2 minute steep gives perfect flavor balance. Amazing, really, for such an inexpensive item. Better than many more expensive teas. 3 minutes -- to tannic!"

5 out of 5 stars anonymous from Philadelphia, PA (United States) (3/22/2013)
Dry Leaf: Excellent, Infused Leaf: Very Good,
Liquor: Very Good, Value: Excellent

"I buy this as a gift for a friend who adores it. I find it a little harsh. It brews very quickly -- nice when you really need a cuppa."

5 out of 5 stars Ann Marie from Fullerton, CA (United States) (2/25/2013)
Dry Leaf: Good, Infused Leaf: Excellent,
Liquor: Excellent, Value: Excellent

"This really is a bargain. Ordered again since it appears to be running out. If this is typical of "terroir", I would try any Mozambican tea Upton has."

3 out of 5 stars Barry Lawson from Saint Paul, MN (United States) (11/10/2012)
Dry Leaf: Very Good, Infused Leaf: Good,
Liquor: Good, Value: Good

"Very dark liquor with a nutmeg nuance (not sure about vanilla or rose) and some of the minerality characteristic of the wonderful African soil. However, not a substitute for the powerful Kenyan CTC's that are now conspicuously absent."

2 out of 5 stars Jeffrey Miller from Seattle, WA (United States) (11/17/2012)
Dry Leaf: Average, Infused Leaf: Average,
Liquor: Average, Value: Good

"Mild, undistinctive flavor; improved with soy milk and sugar. Wondered if I was missing something based on the description and earlier reviews."
